SeaWorld is the region’s first Marine Life Theme Park that offers a unique and immersive experience for visitors. It features state-of-the-art aquariums, thrilling rides, and interactive exhibits that highlight the wonders of the ocean and its diverse inhabitants.

Mechartes was appointed as a CFD analysis consultant for the SeaWorld Abu Dhabi project to assist designers in optimizing HVAC systems in areas housing marine life exhibits. Maintaining indoor temperature is critical, as it needs to be precisely regulated to meet the specific body temperature requirements of various marine species.

The primary goal was to maintain stable temperature and humidity levels to ensure the well-being of the animals and the comfort of visitors as per ASHRAE 55 standards. Specific zones with unique requirements, such as the Penguin Encounter, were analyzed to ensure the HVAC systems could maintain the precise environmental conditions needed for these sensitive exhibits.

By conducting detailed CFD simulations, Mechartes was able to provide valuable insights that helped in designing efficient HVAC systems to achieve the desired environmental conditions.
