Mechartes conducted extensive CFD thermal comfort analysis for the mosque, church, and synagogue areas to optimize the HVAC design. Multiple CFD analyses ensured that temperature, relative humidity, and air velocities were maintained within comfort levels as per ASHRAE 55. Design enhancements were implemented using CFD analysis for all areas.
Additionally, Mechartes performed CFD outdoor thermal comfort analysis for the outdoor areas of the church and mosque with the designed air conditioning system. This analysis helped the client understand the performance of the outdoor air conditioning system before its installation on-site. Various CFD iterations were carried out to finalize a design that provided enhanced comfort levels to the visitors.
