The main objective of this project was to develop software that can used to do both acoustic and Stress analysis. Resorn is a dish horn simulation software package.
This software was developed to combine the FEM analysis in commercial software’s with the theoretical relationships for disc horn functioning to arrive at the final software.
The software should also be able to stress distribution on components with dynamic loading. It should also simulate the acoustic performances of the Disc Horn.
The results obtained from the Resorn are exported and displayed in the Microsoft Excel.
Resorn has two Modules- Acoustic analysis and the stress analysis.
In Resorn all the components are categorized as per different types of Disc Horn.
Resorn is highly customized user friendly software to predict sound decibels at complete frequency range of sound in the audible range. It combines FEM analysis in I-Deas and Abaqus together with theoretical relationships.
