Objective:
Structural assembly of pit and plate of Under Vehicle Scanner was analyzed with various supports like T-section, I-section and solid bar for under vehicle scanner.
The objective of the study was to check the strength of Under Vehicle Scanner plate using various loading & stress conditions. The plate was mounted on the pit with the help of T and C supports. The FEM analysis of the structural assembly was done keeping a factor of safety and permissible stress 2in mind i.e. 1.3 and 207 N/mm respectively.
By replacing T with I section.By replacing T & I with solid bar.By introducing supports in C section, supports were analyzed for different points.
Parameters Studied:
1/4 of width from start edge of the surface,
½ of beam width from start edge of surface,
3/4 of width from start edge of the surface and
1/4 of beam width form end edge of the section.
