Mechartes was engaged as a CFD Analysis consultant for a project involving a G+9 building with 71 diesel generators. The study aimed to assess equipment performance under varying ambient and wind conditions. Key objectives included analyzing velocity, temperature, and recirculation levels of hot air from generator outlets to inlets.

Upon completing the study, it was noted that inlet temperatures increased under certain conditions. Mechartes provided recommendations to optimize performance, such as extending hot air exhaust ducts, installing additional barriers, and refining equipment placement strategies. Additionally, the analysis concluded that emissions, including NOx and SOx, would not pose environmental concerns.

This project highlighted Mechartes’ expertise in conducting detailed CFD analyses to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate environmental impacts in complex infrastructure projects.
