The Vidar project storage warehouse, located at 260 Midway Drive, Union, SC, USA, required an air conditioning system designed to maintain optimal conditions in the storage area during winter and summer. The project owner needed to ensure specific temperature and humidity levels, considering the sensitivity of the materials stored.

To achieve this, CFD analysis was employed as a tool to assess the performance of the air conditioning system under various environmental conditions. The CFD analysis thoroughly evaluated the system’s efficiency, allowing for precise adjustments to meet the required temperature and relative humidity levels inside the storage area. By simulating different scenarios, the analysis provided valuable insights into airflow patterns, heat distribution, and potential hotspots, ensuring the design was robust and effective.

As a result, the client optimized the design, ensuring that the storage environment remained consistent and within the specified parameters, thus preserving the integrity of the stored materials and preventing any potential damage due to environmental fluctuations.

This approach not only enhanced the air conditioning system’s performance but also contributed to cost savings and energy efficiency, making the storage warehouse a reliable and well-regulated facility.
